Although we have taken every precaution in keeping our global affairs a secret to the masses, several of our larger battles with rival organizations acquired coverage in major newspapers in Canada and Europe. In a method to downplay the resulting media backlash, we enlisted aspiring film producers to create an action-adventure series based upon our exploits, intending it to be as campy as possible. Thus our existence would be largely dismissed, and we could continue our operations without further issues.
Originally created as a "B" movie-type television series, the Adventures of the Snow Weasels (Canadian Broadcasting Network, Wednesdays at 8pm, Central/Mountain) featured a somewhat doctored view of the Snow Weasel Society. Alas, this low budget production (initially touted as "James Bond meets The X-Men meets Terry Gilliam" - Ebert & Roeper at the Movies) has spawned several made-for-television specials and offshoot series.
